In our study of 900,000+ US marriages, 86 in 100 couples who scored 85 or higher never divorced.
How can a name predict a marriage? We checked 900,000+ US couples. The higher the name score, the fewer the divorces. How we know
Check your email to confirm. That's how we know you're a person, not a bot. You're a founding member, so you never pay for an introduction. Introductions start as people your age near you join. Each one comes by email, only if you both say yes.

How can two first names predict a marriage?
That's what our algorithm does, and we didn't take it on faith. We ran it on 900,000+ US marriages from public records and then looked at who divorced.
The higher the score, the fewer the divorces: names that scored 85 or higher, 86 in 100 never divorced. Couples whose names scored 40 to 49: 67 in 100.
Then we checked it on 93,246 couples from 1968 that the algorithm had never seen. The pattern held.
The couples married from 1966 to 1990, with divorces checked through 2015.
The free check uses first names only. The full study also used last names and ages.

Who can see my details?
Nobody in public, and no other member unless you both say yes to an introduction. Before any introduction you see only their first name, age and city, and you decide. Only the providers that run the site and send our emails.
Founding member terms
Founding members never pay for an introduction. You are a founding member if you join before our public launch. Joining is free and needs no card. We introduce you by email, one person at a time, and only if you both say yes. Before any introduction you see their first name, age and city, and you decide. If you add your ZIP code, we introduce you only to people within 50 miles of you. You can unsubscribe with one click at any time.
Privacy notice
We store your first name, your email and your consent choices, only to introduce you by email to people whose names fit yours, one person at a time and only if you both say yes, to email you the launch notice, and to prepare your introductions. When you get your reading, we also store the two names you checked and the reading, so we can show it and email it to you. If you add your birth year and the ages you're looking for, we use them to pick the names to show you, and we keep them only if you join, to introduce you to people in that age range. If you add your ZIP code, we use it only to introduce you to people within 50 miles of you. We also store that you joined as a founding member, so you never pay for an introduction. If you ask for a sharper score with last names and birth dates, we use them on our own server only to work out that score. We never show them to anyone and never send them to any other company, including the one that writes your reading. We keep them only if you join, saved with your details. When you join, we email you a link to confirm your email, and we store whether you confirmed. We never sell your details. We share them only with the service providers that run the site, write your reading and send our emails, and they may not use them for anything else. When you join, we email you introductions and the launch notice. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and once you use it we stop emailing you. If you comment on our Instagram or Facebook posts asking for your score, we use that comment only to send you the link you asked for, and we do not store it. Members who joined earlier may have given extra details, such as birth date and gender; we keep all of these under the same protections, and you can ask us to delete them anytime at info@namesbonds.com. If you join through a friend's link, we save which member invited you, and they see only how many friends joined, never your name or email. To see or delete your details at any time, write to info@namesbonds.com and we'll remove them.
